Meet Kate Bonner
At Counter Cultured, we are passionate about fermented foods and ingredients. I bring my unique background and perspective to the kitchen. With a degree in writing and experience as a carpenter, I approach fermentation with a creative eye and a commitment to craftsmanship. Outside of the kitchen, I am a volunteer in several animal rescues and believe in the importance of community and connection. I am thrilled to share my love of fermented foods with you and invite you to taste the difference that passion and expertise can make.

I have over 20 years of experience as a chef and 3 plus years as a commercial brewer. My passion for creating delicious fermented foods is matched only by my commitment to supporting local and ethical suppliers.
